The Flu and You: Prevent the spread!
Date: 11/29/18

It’s flu season, but that also means its prevention season! Coordinated Care is dedicated to keeping you and your family healthy via our flu prevention efforts. The flu (influenza) is a serious illness that can cause many symptoms. These include fatigue, coughing, fever, chills, headaches, or body/muscle aches, a sore throat and other symptoms. The CDC recommends that everyone over the age of six months gets a flu shot.
How can you get a flu shot?
We offer no-cost flu shots to our members – just talk to your doctor to set up a time for your shot. For members who are seven or older, you can go to CoordinatedCareHealth.com/flu for in-network pharmacies and flu prevention resources. Or, contact Member Services at 1-877-644-4613 (TDD/TTY 1-866-862-9380) for more information.

- Avoid contact with people who are sick
- Wash your hands often
